Let’s take a moment to daily prayer through the intercession of St. Rita:

Lord, I am very often overwhelmed by despair, a sense of futility, lack of hope for a better future. I do not have enough strength then. Today You encourage me one more time to make another effort – to sail with You on the depth of all these situations in my life. Touch them, Jesus, by your power.

St. Rita, you weren’t looking for smart solutions to your problems in the wisdom of other people, but were always looking for Wisdom in Divine Source. Teach me such trust in God. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
