Let’s take a moment to daily prayer through the intercession of St. Rita:

Lord, You are always faithful to Your promises. Unlike me, You keep every word. Jesus, give me the grace to stay awake, let Your Word be always important for me, never collapsing to the ground, but in the fertile soil of my heart. Help me to always be ready for what You have prepared for me.

St. Rita, you made the vow of obedience to the Lord. Teach me to wait always diligently for His call and never loose the sense of His presence and care. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
