Lord, You are not the source or cause of suffering. However, sometimes you let it to reach me. „The wound”, which you are inflicting is the constant anxiety of heart; This emptiness that no one can fill in me except You alone. Only it makes that I am still looking for You and I want to find You. Without it, a long time ago I would stuck in a rut of everyday life. Jesus, give me the grace of daily returns for you.
Saint Rita, after so many injuries, including pain and suffering, you know already that the only life fulfilled by the Lord can quench a little bit of your longing for Him. You have received and took your special gift – the life in monastery. Teach me to seek the source and satisfy of my desires in the Lord. A powerful advocate in difficult matters, listen with kindness begging my afflicted heart and obtain for me the grace that I need so desperately. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
