Lord, You look at me and all my life with love. You want me to look at myself from the perspective of eternal life – the heaven that You want to give me. And my eyes and heart are still so difficult to rise to the top. I constantly find something that overwhelms me to the ground. Help me to leave it all, to abandon this „wealth”, which interferes with Your will. Look today at me with love.
Saint Rita, you already went through the gate of death into eternal being with the Lord. Obtain for me the grace to recognize the most important things in my life and to leave those that are less important. Teach me how to make wise choices that are consistent with the will of God. A powerful advocate in difficult matters, listen with kindness begging my afflicted heart and obtain for me the grace that I need so desperately. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
